this song is one of the best love songs I've ever heard, it's the best description of what love is supposed to be. I have a different idea from the 'my biggest fear will be the rescue of me' line, though. I think he means that being in love in such a pure way like that has kind of a scary side, because you KNOW that person is the only one who's able to rescue you from your pain, and that scares him, to be so vulnerable and love it! When he says 'strange how it turns out that way' it's like he's admitting she's the answer he was looking for, and he should be ecstatic about finding her, but at the same time he's scared (in a positive way) of how things can change in his life, and of how vulnerable he's being in this 'transition'... That's what I feel though... Oh, and Incubus rocks, it's the best band out there, by far... |
