The chorus is really catchy, it's what hooked me. It's not "Wanting you is one of the million of these", it's "Wanting you is worth a million of these". It sort of reminds me of Grease 2 when they would go in the fall out shelters and try to seduce the girls. |

I see this song differently from everyone. It seems like everyone sees it as a break-up or post break-up song but I don't see it that way at all. I think this song is about a crush, or having feelings for someone and being scared to tell them. "The first star I see may not be a star. We can't do a thing but wait. So let's wait for one more." I see that as the initial feeling of when you start to like someone but you're not completely sure you do or not, so you have to wait and see if the feeling is real. "The time such clumsy time in deciding if it's time. I'm careful but not sure how it goes. You can loose yourself in your courage." This part is finding the right time and working up enough courage to tell the person and not knowing how it will go. "The mindless comfort grows when I'm alone with my 'great' plans." The 'great' plan is telling the person you have feelings for them and it's they're a comfort on your mind when you think about them. "This is what she says gets her through it: 'If I don't let myself by happy now then when?'If not now when?" This could be advice someone gave the person to tell them to take a chance and let themself be happy for once. If that person will make them happy, then they should risk it and tell them. "When the time we have now ends. When the big hand goes round again. Can you still feel the butterflies? Can you still hear the last goodnight?" This is the feeling you get when you have a crush. You never want the time you spend with them to end and it always seems like time moves faster when you're with them. They can feel the butterflies in their stomach because they like the person and they can still hear the last goodnight ringing in their ears, usually how you hear the last thing a crush says to you when you leave. "Close my eyes and believe wherever you are, an angel for me." Again, with the comfort of the crush on their mind. When you have a crush on someone you tend to think they are perfect, angel like. The person feels like it doesn't matter where they are because the crush is always on their mind. I tend to romanticize things as you can tell, but that's how I see the song. |
