these arent actually the lyrics 4 the green day version. these r the lyrics 4 the original but billie joe but just makes noises that sound like the words and in fact the only the only words he sings are 'It's the eye of the tiger', at least thats what he does in the versions ive heard |

'Warning' is,compared to all other Green Day albums,pop and to me that is what this song is about.Billie-Joe is singing about how the band have turned into a pop-punk band and its something that they havent done before,hence the lyric 'I'm on a mission
Into destination unknown' and he is prepared for the critiscm that the bad recieved for the album, 'Lost and found
Trouble bound'
Thats just what i think about this song when i listen to it.

this song means whatver you want it to believe.if u want it to be about suicide then its about suicide, if u want it to be about god then its about god.the great songs dont even have a proper meaning anyway,they just mean whatever you want it to mean.look at boheminan rhapsody,only freddie mercury knows what the true meaning of that song is if it had 1,but you can interpret it in whichever way you want.
this has religious implications so you can think its about god,but it has references to abuse and suicide so you can say its about that as well.
thats just what i think but i talk crap so this is probably crap 2 |

billie-joe wrote this song after a mum wrote to him complaining that he swore too much in songs. he wrote back saying he doesnt give a damn what she thinks and he will write what he wants. the line 'I do what I want, and you do what you're told' was actually in his letter to this woman. its a quality song |
