Actually, this song is sort of retarded. I'm the big tough guy who wants to whip people's asses when they mess with my girl, though I never have, but they have also never been successful in taking her, so I guess there is no reason to. However, going around stealing people's girlfriends, then running from them when they try to kick you ass, makes you a pussy AND a dick, IMO. There's a little bitch running around down here that does stuff like that and tried to do that to me, but he is a dick with no balls. He goes around telling everyone how he is going to shoot me (because he couldn't steal my girlfriend?), but the little whore never acts so violent when he sees me out. Kinda funny, really... if only he knew I was the one with the loaded 9mm under my car seat... :) I guess the main point of this post would be to say stealing someone's girl/boyfriend makes you retarded, because there are too many people in the world to take (or try to take) someone else's. |

Mudvayne... hahaha. I just had to post another one after reading some more of these comments. Mudvayne is one of the most pathetic excuses of a band to ever record an album. And I saw one of you dissing people who had purple hair and lip piercings. Note that Chris Carraba's arms are covered in tattoos, so it seems that he was a "rocker" some time in the past. That, or he just enjoys looking like a biker. And, note once more, if it wasn't for those "freaks" who created punk rock, who can say our wonderful little "emo" would be around today? Ah... another post from yours truly. No_Point... you did happen to make some good points in your post. Nice to see another hint of intelligence on this website. It is indeed a trend to be "different." Fortunately, the popularity of a band doesn't affect the way I feel about them in the least. I love Chris just as much today as I did when I first heard him, some 2 and some odd years ago. As I said before, I just hate hearing people declaring their love for him because they saw him on TV earlier in the day. I like music because I like it, not because everyone else does. Free-thinkers are the ones who need to run this country. Maybe September 11th would've never happened, and maybe fuckers like jim head could be hung by their toenails. |

Those people whose entire lives are hellbent on becoming the prom queen, the basketball star, the cheerleading captain. All in all, those types of people sicken me. I might not be "cool" in their eyes, but they are not cool in mine. They really need to get some sort of life. Eminem is a genius for being able to express his feelings in a song like this. Don't you just get this feeling if rage deep inside when you listen to this? Once again, it seems I must make my presence known. Who to start with? How about JMil? Alright. JMil, I must whole-heartedly agree that getting ones music out is a good, if not great, thing. The more people that know about the music is, of course, going to increase income. However, if I were to put myself in Chris Carrabba's shoes, I really think I would rather not get known by MTV. If you are truly talented, you don't NEED MTV. Look at NOFX. Have you ever seen them on MTV? Have you ever heard them on the radio? FUCK NO. And who doesn't know about NOFX? The only ones who don't know about NOFX are the ones who don't need to know: MTV-worshipping dickheads. zygoticmynci, for example. May I restate your comments that I am self-righteous... why shouldn't I be? I shun drugs, and I shun idiocy. I do not live on a cot, and I do not demand that a complete history of a band is known before you can listen to them. It is just a personal belief of mine that if you are going to call yourself a "true fan" of a band, then you should know a little bit more about them than just their music. This song doesn't relate to me very well, as I do not enjoy the idea of drinking alcohol. Seems the song is about an alcoholic guy who loses his girl because of his addiction. A story we've all heard many times, and I suppose this song does a good job of portraying that. Song has a nice sound, as well. |

I can very well relate to it, as I had to go away from my rather new girlfriend for 2 weeks after we had only been dating for 2 weeks, but we had experienced a mutual attraction for some time. I love this song so much. I find it so easy to relate to this. To me, the song is about someone that your life revolves around... someone that you rely on.
