i take the pitch line in an entirely unanalytical way, in that regard. i attribute mm's line to some acid-esque thoughts; a little sensory mixup here and there for descriptive purposes. i don't think the technical explanation gives an adequate reason for why a heart could really feel good. i picture a goodfeeling heart swelling with so much energy and life and memory and music that it just starts leaking -- leaking pitch, indeed. |

if any of you are looking at the lyrics to this song simply because you heard it on the radio, don't just look here and be content. check out their old stuff. check out their older albums - through being cool, i'm sorry i'm leaving, and can't slow down. this is a good song, but a poor example of saves the day's talent. and chris's lyrics are amazing, so be sure to check out more of them on here.
