Why is it that so many people love a song that pretty much advocates cheating? The guy in the song is a scumbag, practically cheating on his girlfriend while she's in the next room. If these two really still want to be together, they should break off the new relationships first, not start thinking about having some secret fling. This is a stupid song that champions stupid concepts. If you have any respect for the person you're with currently you won't put yourself in a situation where you might end up being unfaithful. |

| Great song. Not too big a fan of the band, but I can't get enough of this song. A local Indy Pro Wrestler named CM Punk uses this song as his entrance music. The fans really get behind it. During a match he had here in Chicago last year about 2000 people at an event started clapping the drum beat from the beginning of the song during an hour-long match he had with a guy named Samoa Joe. So, nothing relevant to say about the song other than it kicks ass and is well loved in Chi town. | |

| Probably my favorite track on the album. This or "Freedom of Choice". This is, of course, a reworked version of Tapeworm's "Vacant" that APC covered on their 2001 tour. This version is less heavy, but amazing nonetheless. | |

Who the fuck is this NeutralPunkGuy person, and how did he manage to fuck up the lyrics to EVERY song off the new album. Because I'm lazy, I won't point them all out, but here for example, the lines are actually: I'm the PARIAH (Break Me) I am THE LIAR (Save Me) I can't take anything (Make Me) Accuse me of everything (TAKE Me) Cut off the system (SHAPE Me) Deny my existance (WASTE Me) I won't be afraid (Try Me) I won't be unmade (DENY Me!) And that's all straight from the lyrics that came with the the CD. There's a number of other errors in this song, and a ton in every other song from Vol 3. as well. If you're going to post the lyrics, do it right or don't do it at all, Jerky! |

I do believe that the line is "Callin' out to me, she's turning blue". It would make more sense too, as the phrase "Blue in the face" implies someone who is talking without end, trying to be heard. The remix on the W&P single makes this line even easier to understand and hear. But maybe I'm wrong. It's just an opinion. |

ok so, this song has at least two meanings that I KNOW of. My friend's brother wrote the chorus, and sold it to one of those companies that buys lyrics for certain bands to use. Vertical Horizon got a hold of the few lines my friend's brother wrote, and liked it enough that they wrote the rest of the song around it. The meaning of the chorus was about this girl who lives down the street from me that he liked, and basically waited hand and foot on for months, but she just never liked him as anything more then a friend. |

| I think when it was written it had nothing to do with wrestling, but it worked very well as a theme song for Vengeance. As for the real meaning, I think it's about someone being pushed to the point that they are forced to reveal another side of themselves that no one knew existed before. | |

| I'm probably way off on this one, but i once had the song described as being told from "god's" perspective. As in, god is looking down on the earth and reflecting on the way religion is treated. Either it is seen as completly bogus, or those who believe don't fully understand what they claim to believe. Given MJK's previous songs and comments on religion, this meaning for 3 libras might not fit at all, but it's something new to think about. A new way to look at an amazing song. This is by far my favorite Tool song. The last bit when he sings "Staring down the hole again. Hands are on my back again. Survival is my only friend. Terrified of what may come. Remember I will always love you, As I claw your fucking throat away. It will end no other way." is the most awesome part of the song. I take this section of the song and sing along with it, aiming the first bit at myself, and the second at a person who pretty much said the same thing to me. I could listen to this song for hours and never tire of it. |

| from what i've been told by a few people is that when the band titles a song the same as the CD, they change the spelling of the song on the track listing. the same thing happens with the cd "Aenima" and the song "Aenema" I don't know if that's right, but it's what i've been told. | |
