| Wheatus – Hump'Em n' Dump'Em Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| Riboflava....you seriously need to learn how to post lyrics. This is a horrible format and I think you made a typo ('she finished here fat') should that be 'her'? Anyway, I hope you don't post like this anymore. It should be embarrassing for you like it's a pain to me. | |
| Wheatus – Teenage Dirtbag Lyrics | 22 years ago |
|
1. This song isn't about lesbians because it has a whole verse about the girl's BOYFRIEND. Besides, why would he change voices for when the girl is talking? 2. The CD cover lyrics are NOT ALWAYS 100% correct. It's not like the lead singer sits down and writes down all the lyrics down for them to publish. (If you don't believe me, look inside the cover of the Incubus album, "Make Yourself" at the lyrics for Drive (I believe). It has a couple of lines that are obviously not even in the song. I don't buy many CDs, or I would have more examples; but this proves my point. Anyway, this song kicks ass. And these aren't the 'corrected lyrics'.. so good thing you made a whole 'nother page to make a fool of yourself. |

| I sure do, bojangles, although posting twice was an accident. | |
| Radiohead – Lucky Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
I think it's about a shakey relationship. Sarah has been with the singer for a long time. He loved her, and she hurt him (kill me again with love). Their relationship is falling apart (we are standing on the edge), and he wants her to give him another chance (pull me out of the wreck). He is optimistic about the situation, and he believes that Sarah is gonna take him back. (it's gonna be a glorious day/I feel my luck will change). |

| Radiohead – Fake Plastic Trees Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
The way I see it, is the singer is watching the new life of a woman he once loved. She was fake, as in she preteneded to be someone she wasn't. The singer wasn't like that, and she left him for a guy who was fake and who makes others fake. The last part of the song is his frustration that she threw herself into this fake world, even though he knows she would be better off if she was real. In the last line, he is wishing that he could be what she wanted all of the time, so she would be with him, but he refuses to because he doesn't want to be fake like everyone else. |

| Radiohead – Optimistic Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
To me, this song is about how foolish it is to be enitrely optimistic; to the point where you pretend that NOTHING has any bad to it. Optimism is the pig shit (this one dropped a payload/fodder for the animals) and the bad things that exist (despite optimists denying them) are the dinosaurs. At first, he lists some bad things, and then says 'not my problem' this is being TOO optimistic and not realizing the bad things in the world. And that's what the song is saying is wrong to do. |

| Radiohead – A Reminder Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
Don't EVER expect Radiohead to be too shallow. I think this is more than him just not wanting to get old. At first it seems so, but then the last verse reveals that he is talking to a woman. He realizes that since he loves this woman, he is gonna become hardened and bitter since she is leaving him. He doesn't mean getting old in years, but rather, changing as he goes on into his future since he had to leave this woman behind. 'Getting old' means letting go of fanciful love and becoming hardened. That's why he wants to be reminded that he kissed her once and that he 'really meant it' when he did. Talking shit is saying that love isn't real, and/or that he never loved her (or anyone). He says that if he becomes THAT hardened that he wants someone to 'smash out his brains' So, if he gets old (hardened) he wants her to play this song to him so he can remember that he wasn't always like that. The fact that he wants her to play him the song over the phone might mean that he knows that she is going far, far away, never to return to him. |

| The airbag (technology), in this case is not expressed as something great, it is just balancing out the bad of cars with something good (safety). | |
| Radiohead – Bullet Proof...I Wish I Was Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
I think this is about a guy who has been with a girl that made him really emotional about things. (You have turned me into this). But later on, she leaves him and he wishes he wasn't so emotional, especially about her (I wish that I was bulletproof). |

| Radiohead – Street Spirit (Fade Out) Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
The correct lyrics are: Rows of houses, all bearing down on me I can feel their blue hands touching me All these things into position All these things are one to swallow whole And fade out again and fade out This machine will, will not communicate These thoughts and the strain I am under Be a world child, form a circle Before we all go under And fade out again and fade out again Cracked eggs, dead birds Scream as they fight for life I can feel death, can see its beady eyes All these things into position All these things are one to swallow whole And fade out again and fade out again Immerse your soul in love IMMERSE YOUR SOUL IN LOVE |

| Radiohead – No Surprises Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| I think it's about a guy who is fed up with trying to make a difference in the world, and is also having problems with his girlfriend. He wants to just settle into a peaceful life where he can forget about all of his problems and just relax and live. | |
| Radiohead – Vegetable Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
The correct (official) lyrics are as follows: I never wanted anything but this I tried hard, worked hard I ran around in domestic bliss I fought hard, died hard Everytime you're running over me Everytime you're running I can see I'm not a vegetable I will not control myself I spit on the hand that feels me I will not control myself I never wanted any broken bones Scarred face, no home Your words surround me and I asphyxiate And I burn all hate Everytime you're running out on me Everytime you're running I can see I'm not a vegetable I will not control myself I spit on the hand that feels me I will not control myself The waters break, the waters run all over me The waters break, the waters run And this time you're gonna pay I'm not a vegetable I will not control myself I spit on the hand that feels me I will not control myself.. Good try, though |

| Incubus – Crowded Elevator Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
Ok. In this song, the singer is really mad at his girl. And he's been holding in his anger for far too long, and he is getting anxious to let it out. But he doesn't know if he should wait for the lobby, or just chew her out in front of the crowd. I wouldn't have understood this, but the other day I chewed my woman out in front of a small group (not quite 26 people, but a few). It is kinda embarrassing to 'expose every inch' in front of other people, but I just couldn't ignore my rage any longer. She hates me now though! :'( |

| Radiohead – I Can't Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
This song is about a guy who just blamed (or insinuated that) his woman for something that she didn't do. So he asks her to forget he said that, because he couldn't help himself since many such doubts about her integrity are in his head, bothering him. Lines 3-4 and the chorus are him saying that there is no way for him to ignore these doubts. The next verse says that there are lots of doubts that keep him from enjoying and trusting her; and that he can never find the words to say what he truly means. And obviously, he loves this woman more than any he has ever known before - so if she leaves him now, he'll be devastated like never before. |

| Radiohead – I Can't Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
First off: the OFFICIAL lyrics are as follows: Please forget the words that I just blurted out It wasn't me, it was my strange and creeping doubt It keeps rattling my cage And there's nothing in this world will keep it down Even though I might, even thought I try, I can't Even though I might, even thought I try, I can't So many things that keep, that keep me underground So many words that I, that I can never find If you give up on me now I'll be gutted like I've never been before And even though I might, even thought I try, I can't Even though I might, even thought I try, I can't If you give up on me now I'll be gutted like I've never been before And even though I might, even thought I try, I can't Even though I might, even thought I try, I can't Even though I might, even thought I try, I can't Even though I might, even thought I try, I can't |

| Radiohead – Everything in Its Right Place Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
This is one of the most beautiful songs ever. Unless you're too shallow to enjoy it. I NEVER get sick of this song. The baground music is absolutely overwhelming. It gives me goosebumps just hearing it. The mellowness of the music and the lyrics really helps me to relax. This is why I believe that 'Everything in its Right Place refers to the fact that everything was meant to happen, therefore; everything IS in its right place. When I am feeling shitty, listening to this song reminds me of that and of the fact that if I trust God, everything will turn out right in the end. The two colors represent good and bad - but even the colors in his head are in their right place. Sucking a lemon means he woke up in a bad mood. The next lines suggest that he got in a fight with someone and he wouldn't listen since he was upset; but when he realizes that everything is in its right place, he decides to listen to what the other person tried to say to him. |

| Bush – The Chemicals Between Us Lyrics | 23 years ago |

Is anyone absolutely sure that these are EXACTLY the correct lyrics? It seems to me that the second line should be (and sounds to me like): "A love so full it consumed us always" - Just a thought :) |

| Chad Kroeger – Hero Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Hey Caramel Fire, what IS the best song ever made??? | |
| Incubus – Echo Lyrics | 24 years ago |
| Yeah, fireant is right.....this song kicks tons of ass... Of course, "My biggest fear will be the rescue of me" and "Your biggest fear will be the rescue of you " are really confusing lines to me. If anyone has an idea as to what these lines mean, please post it here. Also, does anyone know what "infinitely interesting" thing this song refers to. I think that it's love, but I'm open to suggestions | |
