| I used to like Michael Jackson. I highly anticipated his "Dangerous" album when it cam out, but this song changed my opinion. The lyrics have a good message... we should accept people for who they are, not what they look like or where they're from... but really, I can't stand listening to the music! Part of it is angry, part is light-hearted. There's no continuity! Oh, and I don't need to say anything about the lame video, do I? | |

This song is so damn good! It's my favorite song on this album. It's the reason I bought the CD :) . For me, this is what a love song should be. Whenever I hear this song, I don't feel miserable that I'm not with her... I feel lucky to be in love. I guess the thing I'm not sure about is the "biggest fear". Is that falling in love? Is it committing yourself to someone? I guess it depends on who you are. It's kind of hard to talk about the song without talking about the music that surrounds these lyrics. The music is subdued, but fast-paced (thanks to some awesome drum work). I think my favorite part of the music is the guitar work. There's something very smooth about it. |

I didn't think of this as a love song really. Not a typical one anyway... When you're "in love" you're supposed to be miserable without that person, at least that's the way most love songs go. This song brings back memories of times when I've been somewhere doing something (real descriptive, I know :) ) ... I'm having the time of my life, and I think, "Man, wouldn't it be awesome if [someone] was here?" [Someone] being a close friend who would understand the moment. That close friend could be a significant other but doesn't have to be. |
