i work at a radio station in central illinois, and this came in the mail yesterday. i like to think the song had its world premiere on our station, but that's just wishful thinking. heh. anyway, i couldn't find much on the story behind the song, save for a brief mention at rollingstone.com. chris says while it's inspired by the spider-man storyline, it's not so much about peter parker, but instead the difficulties of being a young adult. sigh. |
