How can I be the first person to read this and comment on it? John Denver wrote and sang some of the best music ever recorded, and this song is one of his greatest achievements. A great song to listen to at night on the way home from driving across the country. It almost puts tears in my eyes with the beauty end eloquence of its words and the love with which it is sung. I may be crazy, but I love it. |

One of the most beautiful songs ever sung. It makes me think of cold nights in college drinking tea while thinking of fading love. "Nightblindness" makes me want to cry from loneliness every time I hear it. |

I would just like to say that Andrew is not trailer trash. He comes from the fabulous city called Ann Arbor, home of the University of Michigan. The reason he is so dirty is because it's an image that people see and don't soon forget.
I don't like this song and, from what else I've heard, he is severely lacking in talent, but you have to hand it to the guy because he's making a couple million bucks off of it. The man is smart, he knows what he is doing and he does it well. More power to a man who can make money off of simple songs that make some people happy.
