This song always makes me cry. A few months ago my best friend was raped. When she told me I didn't know what to say to her so i got my guitar and sang this song. It was my way of telling her we love her and will always be there for her.

The lines "I yell and tell it... then it's born again" remind me of my ex-bf. He suffered from depression and sniffed glue to escape from reality. When he was high he'd see a goblin and he'd shout at it telling it to leave him alone but it would never go until he'd come down from his high. I'm not sure what Anthony was trying to say in this song but this is my interpretation. |
