| I agree with vdub18, totally about him talking about selling out and how if all these so called hard core fans have a problem with him making alot of money they can go shove themselves because he's always going to have fans, but I also think that He's tlaking to the members in the band about how the bands name is Dave Matthews and not something like Aerosmith where the lead man is the lead man. But he's also saying that even though it's the way it is, he did for them all, so they have rich a luxorous life, and the video really reall shows this so you can take the drug thoughts and shove 'em because the video is the perfect story of him just defending himself against the band and the sucky people that suck. | |

| I think that Jay is the most talented Funk singer, and he is such a pimp! So i think that dancing is just a way to get something off your mind, because your feet move naturally to a beat as with your wholee body. And Jamiroquai just doesn't get the fans that he should have because that band's music is the best dance music(Chours Style) in the world. | |

OK, the lyric for the spider man version must be different because I swear that he say "we" all fly away and not "they" So if that's the way it is, the song is about Chad going to a party. On the way he got high, and that's when he's so high. He's high for a whilr then he comes down. So he gets to the party and someone in the party, most likly, is someone with coke or dank buds. And he seeing all these people that are already high and flying away. Then he says that he he gets all this love. And the love is obvously a symbol for a person that did something that would make him love the symbol. This love brings him his hero, which is his high, then he finds his eagle, which is a matephor for how high he is. and the world is obciously not ending because he doesn't have to come all the way down. :( This is the best part, when he notices that sober people are coming into the party and he's so messed-up and he kind of remembers when he was sober at the party but doesn't care that they're not messed-up so he glouts about being so high. I wonder if any one can hear that, but I can hear it in chad's voice that that is what the song is really about. As for the guy who sang it with Chad on the spider man soundtrack, he was the one that spread the thoughts of other interpretations. Sorry if this offended anyone, but I mean that has happended to me, so I think that it's common. |
