Thrice are great, all music is good in its own way, rap isn't music, its just poetry, which sometimes can suck. so most rap sucks, cause the poety sucks, some rap is good, i dont like it, but its still good in its own way. Thrice is a mix of a lot of different types of music, punk/hardcore/metal/rock/emo. so you can't classify them as just one thing. Their lyrics are very deep and most people will not understand them even if they like the music, and they DID NOT sellout. Selling out is BULLSHIT. the only way Thrice would sellout is if they betrayed themselves. Listen to the music and enjoy it, don't try to find the REAL meaning behind it, art is ment to be interpreted differently by everyone, so whatever meaning you get, thats what you get, Dustin has his own meaning for it, and you should too. Don't worry about weather your right or not. enjoy the music people. |

this song could mean anything and i don't think the people who made this site had a goal of people trying to figure out what the songs ment to the ARTIST, i think the goal was for people to tell each other what this song ment to THEM and share ideas and stories, i hope you all understand that.
this song (to me) means a deeper feeling with life than all the small, shallow things that you deal with during the time your here, and to focus on the more important things, and you'll be happier, which is a good message, and i doubt its about drugs, but who cares! you get what you want from a song, weather good or bad. enjoy the music. |

great song, and although it IS about a school shooting the songs sounds kind of upbeat, which, in my opinion, was kind of an error for the band. if they had made it a little more sullen and less poppy, i think it would have made the impact of the lyrics meaning, its still a great song. |

a band doesn't sell out if they write a song about their past love, what the fuck! why do you think most of the great song writers write, because their past loves, their memories, thats what songs are about. its emotions and thoughts that produce these lyrics, love is not just in pop music, its in EVERYTHING, love is love and love is life. everything is based on love, and if this song happens to be about Havok's ex and how he had his heart broken then it is, but it could be about how they used to play somewhere in San Fran. whatever, you get what you put into it. just appreciate these lyrics and get your own feelings and emotions from what the song writer felt. |

blink is shit and always has been. tom is about 28, and if i'm not mistaken, married. so these lyrics came from nowhere, and were written for the sole purpose to make money, and not to mention, they just suck. everyone that i know that likes blink is normally pretty stupid, and most of them are 13 year old girls. i saw them live at the pop disaster show in Camden, NJ. i went to see Green Day who are good, and have a very good live show. Blink was horriable as i expected. and i am wishing i had just left, but i wanted to see the drum flip, which was gay, Tommy Lee did it 10 years ago, so fuck anyone who likes blink cause you would have to have the mental capsity of a 6 year old to actually like this utter shit. |
