Weezer fans suck for disrespecting Cold on their short tour together... the only reason why they went on tour together was because Rivers is a fan of Cold... maybe his fans should get a clue and listen to something new eh? |

and if you consider a man singing about a marijuana smoking transvestite prostitute while sumo wrestlers dance around to be 'meaningful' i think YOUR sense of meaning is heavily skewed my friend. now on the other hand, dope nose is pure idiocy with a super pop aura! wow! well... the thing is that i cant criticize all the new weezer songs because i havent heard them all... but the reason should be obvious why i havent wasted my time. and you know... evolution is a funny thing... if someone is doing great just the way they are... why evolve eh? sounds more like Weezer devolved more than anything... |

uhhmmm.... Rivers SUCKS lyrically compared to Chris hands down... with songs like "Dope Nose" and "Hash Pipe" I really do believe that Chris is MUCH more talented AND more influential than Rivers by far. At least Chris' songs have a deeper meaning than some crap about drugs. And he shows his talent by being a one man band. And yes ive heard everything Weezer has to offer and im not impressed at all. The ONLY good Weezer is Blue Album and thats it, they turned to total crap after that. And so if you really think that Rivers is actually better in any way than Chris, youve got your head too far up your ass to actually comprehend the depth of Chris' music as compared to Rivers'. |

i use the word band loosely as of course it is not a band, but because of the strings section in the background of certian songs and the backup vocals of Jolie Lindholm, i almost concider it a band. Chris is an awesome songwriter. The whole cd is amazing. |
