dude, i can't tell you how many times i've been flipping through channels and i hear that stupid eminem song when i pass mtv. i hate that so much. they overplay every song. and that's why the song loses its touch.
and i agree with you. they do tell kids how to dress and what music to listen to and stuff like that. and it really pisses me off. they just want more people watching their shows. they don't care if the band makes it, all they care about is the money. |

I don't think anyone here is downing anyone 4 what they believe in. People have the right 2 believe in whatever they want. Skankinrudegirl101 is right. Punks don't have to believe in Anarchy, but they choose 2, and there should be nothing wrong with that. People should accept others 4 their individuality. Not because they are a certain way. |

PuNk's NoT DeAd! Its still alive and rocking. LeT me 1st compliment all of you who have submitted your comments about this. Yes, Punk Rock is not about the dress, its all about the music. people have taken it to an extreme by watching MTV, seeing those bands such as: blink 182 and sum 41, then go out in the world and call themselves "hardcore" punks. I agree with rachypoo6. I would like to see those people go to a concert with their expensive hot topic bondage pants and rebel shirt. They would get the shit knocked out of them.
Don't listen to those people who try to put you down just because they say you aren't punk. Just do what you want and know what your doing. Go through life with your head up, and not a care in the world when some idiot tries to tell you that you aren't punk. Don't let it bother you one bit. Just do what you think is right and rock on. |

in my opinion, MTV screws every band that comes on there. its especially bad when that certain band moves to TRL. that's where all bands totally lose it. and i think that's why no one really listens to them anymore. MTV blows! i agree with tallman_al. all MTV wants is the money, they don't care if a band makes it, all their concerned about is the pay off 4 the so called "promotion" they think their doing 4 the band.
