I had heard this song so many times and never thought about what his desire to "defy the logic of our sexx laws" really meant. In the video, he shows that part of it is about laws about who's having sex. What I'm thinking of is the part when everything in the kitchen is having sex. It's an interesting intrepretation but it's just my personal opinion. I think that's what the handcuff part may also refer to. We are bound to the logical part of sex laws and he wants to let them slip away. Beck is one of my favorite artists and he never fails to amaze me. |

This song is amazing. The meaning is important, and I think they picked perfect music to go along with it. It's kind of confusing, don't you think? Just like the person is about the relationship. Anyway, that's all I had to say. Oh, thank you bakismaki for not talking about Donnie Darko. This song has always been around and it shouldn't have taken a somewhat recent movie to draw attention to it. |

In response to Gobsow (and all others): It's not like there wasn't more than one member of the band. Maybe the two songs were contributed by diffferent people in differen't situations. And on another note, some relationships can really get that dysfunctional. |
