I saw her performing this on MTV, and the first thing I thought when the song started was, "holy crap, is she re-doing Vois sur ton Chemin?" The beginning is almost exactly like the beginning of Vois sur ton Chemin from The Chorus soundtrack. |

I like her music.
though I bet that if she dressed..."normal"...people would ignore her. When I first heard her, it was over the radio, i didn't consider it punk or pop either. pop/rock i guess.
As for whether or not she's a punk chick...the only way you'll ever know is if you actually know her. Look past the fact that she wears baggy pants and chains. It's all about the music. And to me...punk isn't even about the music or even fashion. But i guess image is an important thing to everyone...have you noticed all the little girls walking around in ties?...AFTER she came out.
but besides that...i like her music. punk...pop...rock...who gives a shit. alot of you people are contridicting yourselves. if you would label as much as you listened then maybe it'd all balance out.
her music's fine...whether or not she's "PUNK" i doubt her music will ever change.
but that's my opinion and this is coming from a girl who considers martin luther king and madonna "punk." |
