man, this entire conversation was a lot to take in. blinkfan, i used to like blink 182 but i mean their music just lacks emotion. i am catholic, i do not attend church because i don't like the catholic church too much, but i believe strongly in God and Jesus. I heard this song and was really amazed by it... But, I mean, I don't listen to Christian bands and I don't pressure anyone to become a christian or tell them their beliefs are wrong and mine are right. That would completely go against what I believe. BLINKFAN, how can you say you believe in God and then bash him at the same time? I don't understand that at all... but it's your opinion believe what you want to believe. And "christian" music doesn't have to be "gospel" music, this isn't gospel music, maybe you should get you ears checked. I'm not saying this is punk, but it's definitelt not gospel and it's got so much more depth than blink 182... If you don't want to listen to christian music, at least find some bands that actually addaning to their songs, not like Blink 182's more recent stuff (minus Stay Together For The Kids)... I listen to bands like Rufio, Dashboard Confessional, Saves the Day, Something Corporate, The Promise Ring, The Get Up Kids, Juliana Theory, Brand New, New Amsterdams, The Beautiful Mistake and Jimmy Eat World. Try out some of that. There's no way you can say any of that lacks emotion or sucks Yeah, there is music out there that isn't over-produced and manufactured purely for the money. MUSIC DOESN'T HAVE TO SUCK! |

ok... my favorite part is when chris says "or maybe... we will..." you can just feel how he feels... i can relate to this, because i liked this guy once and he didn't know but i wanted him so badly and whenever i listened to that one song and that one line, i felt like crying and i got goosebumps all over... i get goosebumps every time i listen to any of his songs. the so impossible EP is, i think, by far chris's best work... these songs, well and every other songs of his, are ones that you can listen to over and over 50 thousand times and NEVER get tired of them... he is so amazing... i hope he keeps on writing like he did for this one... |
