"Into your pockets son they got you thinkin' that What you need is what they sellin' Make you think that buyin' is rebellin'" -This one is Rage' point of view on advertisng and the media. Most adventisments today try to make it look like buying their product will set you apart from the crowd...when all you've done is given your money to a huge corporation. I especially like the part that says "trade in your history for a vcr" This pretty much sums up what i believe...that most people would rather watch a fictional story than learn about their heritage. |
