i've been reading all the comments and everything, but i can't help but thinking the song's about neither a relationship or christianity. does anyone agree? i read it with a relationship in mind but that just didn't seem to fit, so i tried relating it to someone losing their faith and that didn't fit either... haha this song is is completely beyond me. does anyone have any other ideas? |

glytter girl -- the first time i heard this was also in concert! i knew (and had memorised and was obsessed with!) a bunch of her songs when i went but i was pleased to discover a few new ones, like dogs and thunder. this song actually has been released, but from when she was the lead singer for her old band weeping tile. she has a bunch of great song from her weeping tile days (westray, in the road) but they're often overlooked and can be hard to find. good luck! |

can someone explain to me why there's such a negative connotation with the word pop? i don't really like pop myself, but it's just a style of music. why don't we go "oh god she's turned sooooo r&b"? certain songs are always going to be in heavy rotation, but that's not just on pop stations! i agree that overplaying is really annoying but it shouldn't be a reflection of the music, just the station you're listening to or watching. |
