this is one of my favorite alktrio songs. my band covers this. i think its about someone who's wasted his life away in a chase after a dream he cannot possibly have, a futile endeavor, and its left him a wreck of a man. ("no reason to cal, i'm passed out on the floor"). but he holds out hope that there is still a chance at redemption, and that there is someone out there who can help him find what he wants. thats what i think, at least. |
