this is a typcial bright eyes strange song. conor manages to put in the music you should be used to if you're listening to enough bright eyes and the lyrics that we've become accustomed to hearing from him. except the lyrics are hardly there, very blunt, some what hard to figure out, but at the same time very self explanitory. i thing it's well done and is a fine start a very good album.(better than Wide Awake, i feel). |

yeah, this song really is a great song. i think it's the best song off 'say it like you mean it'. the way ken's voice blends with the aucustic guitar is amazing.(yeah "cheeck to cheek", NJ does rock!, so does starting line!!) |

yeah, this song is a very amazing song, but then again i think all starting line songs are('say it like you mean it' is an awesome cd by the way, for anybody who doesn't have it yet). but i remember hearing this song once before at a church youth group thing that i went to with my friends and they said it was written for a girl that was killed at columbine high school because he said she believed in good. i think this is one of tsl's best songs though. |
