Bob Dylan – Just Like a Woman Lyrics | 21 years ago |
I have to disagree with you. NOT because I am female just that your interpretation might be a bit off. I think Dylan is talking about a woman who at one point in her life had it all and needed no one to help her get by. "Ev'rybody knows That Baby's got new clothes But lately I see her ribbons and her bows Have fallen from her curls." But some life changing event happened and now she's forced to build up herself again. "Nobody has to guess That Baby can't be blessed Till she sees finally that she's like all the rest With her fog, her amphetamine and her pearls" "Ah, you fake just like a woman, yes, you do You make love just like a woman, yes, you do Then you ache just like a woman But you break just like a little girl." And this part is about how she shrugged it off and looked like she moved on but Dylan knows her secret that she's just as fragile as a little girl. |

ok why hasn't anyone even mentioned that bob dylan is the original composer of this great song? He's the true master of this poem written back in 1952. |
Bob Dylan – All Along the Watchtower Lyrics | 21 years ago |
I'm not real clear on the meaning of this great Dylan song but I do know all credit is due to him. He is such a great artist and poet even if his voice is less than pleasing. |
Fleetwood Mac – The Chain Lyrics | 21 years ago |
If you ever read Rumors Exposed you will know that this is the only song that all the members of Fleetwood Mac could put aside creative differences and record so perfectly. Great read and song! |
Fleetwood Mac – Beautiful Child Lyrics | 21 years ago |
Her lyrics send sivers up my spine. I just wish I knew who she writes her songs for. |
Fleetwood Mac – Storms Lyrics | 21 years ago |
"I have always been a storm" I imediately fell in love with this song from the first moment I heard it. It is so unbelievably sad. I can't believe no one has said anything about this song. Then again not many people commented on other songs. Stevie Nicks writes the most touching songs-she brings something to her music that no one can compete with. |
Billy Joel – Goodnight Saigon Lyrics | 21 years ago |
this song means so much to my father. He told me everytime he hears it he is reminded about when he was watching a 442 old's for his cousin who went off to 'nam but never returned, very sad story and song. |
