And the kid killing his dad, thats not really right either, yah it's happened but it's not what the song is about. I personally think this song is about people losing faith because they dont get "answers" from god "Sat back gave your soul to me = prayer" "But did I listen God damn did I burn my hands = no response from god" "On what was missing, the glistening = people realizing it" "I feel,.. Unreal = no longer getting worshipped" i dunno maybe i'm thinking too deep but makes good sense to me |
