| it's not "i'm boiling", sorry... it's "i'm buoyant", at least originally, but you can hear it the way you want to hear it, that's always for the best. perhaps you've got another version. doesn't really matter, cause it's great anyway. i love this song too, it completely embraces my feelings. watching phil elvrum doing it live was absolutely wonderful. oh man i'm so glad i met that guy, even just for once. really amazing man. | |

the version i've got goes something like this: we skipped the light fandango turned cartwheels 'cross the floor i was feeling kind of seasick the crowd called out for more the room was humming harder as the ceiling flew away when we called out for another drink the waiter brought a trail(?) and so there was that later as the mirror told its tale that her face at first just ...(?) turned a whiter shade of pale ..and so on. |
