not to offend anyone here, but these lyrics aren't very deep to me. i mean, they sound like any other pop song's lyrics. it's just a bunch of "yeah yeah... why you gotta complicate things... ooo yeah yeah thats how life is." i don't know. but somehow i just listened to it three times in a row. i hate pop music. why am i here? |

this is my favorite dashboard confessional song. i love the line "the streets were wet and the gate was locked so I jumped it, and let you in." yea, i don't know why. i have this thing for guys who jump gates. but anyway, it's obviously about a guy who really really likes a girl (just like the majority of dashboard songs) but this one takes the cake. cake... |

*creams my underpants. err. twinkie rather.* this song is great, and yeah take it however you want to take it but "brudda gotta way widda words." it reminds me of what my best friend is going through. he was really close to this girl, and he begged her not to go out and do the wrong things to ruin her life ("i begged you, i pleaded") but she did anyway, just to please everybody else. damn bastard & i hate her but hey. that's not what this song is about though, so i'll stop talking now on account i don't want to confuse anybody. |
