this song is about a man who is trying to tell this girl that he really wants to be with her but he has to admit that he is struggling with drugs and is trying to kick his habits but it is very hard for him. "when it snows" is a reference to cocaine and "kiss from a rose" i hear has to do with shooting heroin. he says love was the drug without the pill, meaning she makes him feel amazing but his real addictions make him forget about her and all he can think about is how good it feels when he does coke. |
