I don't think this song is anything near average. I don't know, but I think Simplistic was being biased on the interpretaion.
"Good Fortune" is a great song. It shows that you can feel great being with the person you love. This song shows that your world changes once you meet that special someone. |

I almost cried when I heard this song. I'm a hugh fiona apple fan and I of all her amazing songs, this is my favorite. This sadness from her voice is such a rarity. Many singers don't have that when they sing something as deep as this.
In my opinion, this song is a classical heart over head situation. The heart is so strong that Fiona is willing to give her lover this second chance. She has faith in that they'll be together.
This is such a great song, that it makes me feel like I can relate to her. It's amazing how such a person can provide such unconditional love. |

I like this song. Really slow and lazy. Made me wished I were also a painter who 'painted' a life with someone special. Kind of reminds me of the feeling you get with you've discovered you are in love. :) |

I don't know about you, but this has to be my favorite from Norah Jones. It has a very sullen tone to it. I feel very low listening to "Don't Know Why." It's great that Norah's songs can drown you with intense emotions. I think this is a song about a lost of a lover due to some situation that is making her choose. She wants him/her, but she feels like the feeling has to be mutual. That's my two cents. |

OMG! This is one sexy song! You know what I mean. Even though this song isn't gonna send anyone into overdrive, it's lust and desire can simmer anyone. It's jazzy beats and melody is great. I think this song was also used on the Style Network. I'm not sure, but I vaguely think it was featured in a runway show. Anyway, this is an incredibly sexy song. |
