"killcorazon" - i guess what i meant to say was that i'm *into* emo music. not "i'm an emo chick". that *does* sound pretty dumb not that i look at it. but sometimes ya don't realize what you're typing... i would not really describe myself to someone as "yea hi my name's allie, i have blond hair, blue eyes, freckles, & i'm your typical 'emo chick' ". it's more of a "hi i'm allie & i'm a pretty nice kid. i have feelings like any other person. i like hanging out w/ my friends and eating ice cream". So yea, i listen to emo music, amongst other genres - rap, hip hop, punk-pop, techno. but who the fuck cares. anyways, get off my case ass hole. & sorry guys i'm not usually immature enough to start a "message board fight" HOW LAME! but ok so yea, i did DL the song & i guess it's ok. not my fav. it's not going on any CDs of mine of anything. but o well. |

This is my new theme song. I'm not one to get drunk often. But I didn have a pretty descent buzz the other day & so did my long term crush. Lucky for us, the alcohol allowed us to admit to feelings we've had for the past year & hopefully we'll stay together after our little hook up. But yea, SoCO is awesome. I love these guys. Andrew is so amazingly talented. I can't wait to see them at Warped! |

Thank you emo12PUNK12metal... I appreciate that. Chris Carrabba is a talented artist & so he deserves recognition. Yea, I'm an emo chick. But I'm not gonna be all "o, can't listen to this band anymore - they're getting too popular." That's ridiculous. So long as the music stays the same then who cares? Ok yea... So I haven't listened to P.T.L. yet, but a friend told me to DL some of their tunes & since I'm having trouble getting a hold of their mp3s, I thought I'd check out their lyrics. Pretty clever I must say. I'll have to see how the music & singing fits along with these great lyrics. |

I got the same inpression as ColorMeComplex when I first heard this song, but I think everyone else has the right idea now that I think about it. This song makes me sad though everytime I hear it b/c I'm reminded of when I had to leave the Sugarcult concert early in the show (during this song), b/c my ride screwed me over. Lucky for me I got to talk to Marko before the show & he is one of the nicest people I've ever met. Can't wait to see them again 8.06.02!! |

This is *one* of my fav. Dashboard songs (along w/ all the songs off the So Impossible EP & The Good Fight). But this song touches my favorite subject - being true to yourself. I love it. "...and grow up fast" reminds me to be a kid, not put on some front like I'm much older than I (altho I could pass as a bit older than 15)... Great song. I love Chris too by the way. I can't way to see him again. He his so awesome in concert. The last time I went to one of his shows I got to meet him. His autograph is my most prized possession. |

Thank you Kyle ca for your translation of the song. I read that as I listen to "Konstantine" for the first time all the way through and when the song finnished I cried. This song is so beauitfully written and the music fits so well. Like pretty much everyone else, it reminds me of a break up I had last year - my toughest one yet. We were so close, but I knew we couldn't hold on to it any longer cuz we had our own paths that went totally opposite ways. Unfortunately he couldn't be civil about it so we no longer speak. But from the tone of this song it was like a mutual break up. "We both know what it's like to be alone" is such a perfect lyric. Gosh, this is such a great song. |

i went to the concert too except i didn't really pay attention to little benny cuz i had never heard of him before. (i know, i'm so ignorant sometimes.) but after my good friend steve played his cd over & over again in the car i was like "dude, ben's a cool guy." so now i'm hoooked. i'm gonna go buy the cd tomorrow when i got to the record store to get warped tickets. i also like the song "in other words." this is a good song, it's so up beat - puts ya in a good mood. |
