| i really liked the song when i first heard it... but then someone had to ruin it for me by their interpretation and then acting like an ass after the whole thing when i thought things were going to change. and now even though its a great song i cant stand listening to it.. bcuz it makes me think of how it should have been.. either way this song does have a powerful meaning behind it... and i dont really think it matters what the real meaning is... its how it makes u feel and how u relate it to ur life that really matters!! thats all for now kids! | |

fenix tx have the best songs! i luv them! i think the meaning is pretty much what the song says.... "well all the things i've said to try to make it work have all been ben or misunderstood.. everythingwas taken the wrong way"... pretty much about trying to make sumthing work but got messed up. my favorite part is.... "sometimes i think about the way it used to be you're not the same person that you started out to be... i haven't talked to you in days and I guess it's not so hard" it reminds me all too well of a lot of people i used to be really close to and who've changed so much in the last yr. i hardly talk to them now.. not like i used to.. at first it was hard not having them to talk to... but now its not so hard. |

this is a great song!! and i dont think its ALL about taking back "i luv yous." although it is about luv... breaking up.. and regret.... u also can take some of it another way. "you left me for dead so far away i replaced you with fear and shame you'll be happy on the day i die there are things that used to make me laugh but now they're deeply buried in the past i left them there so far away replaced my humor with pain" i relate to losing friends. like u have a best friend.. and he/she abandons you (left me for dead so far away)... u may become depressed... frightened now that you dont have a friend to always be there with you (i replaced you with fear and shame) . and maybe ur ex-bestfriend is plotting against you with other people... trying to ruin ur life (you'll be happy on the day i die).. and it hurts so much bcuz u guys used to have the best times together... always having something to laugh about (there are things that used to make me laugh). now ur all alone without the one person who could always make u laugh (but now their deeply buried in the past.. i left them there so far away.. replaced my humor with pain) i kno thats kinda of stretching the song... but that happened to me and that part of the song i took out and now thats what it means to me..... and liek the " Well forget it I take it back I was just a stupid kid back then I take back every word that I said" u tell ur "best friend" everything! and like u say how u'll be friends forever.... and nothings going to ever change that... well something did... so i dont kno! thats just my thoughts on the song! |

| i think this is like the sweetest song in the world... or close to it!! basically hes saying hes gonna luv her 4ever no matter what but in a more creative way then most people... i think its pretty obvious hes whipped... and being whipped usually ends up to be painful...stinging is symbolic for pain.... but i dont think she is really putting him through pain... but like hes saying he luvs her so much it wouldnt matter to him what she did to him..... he always going to luv her! sweetness kids! | |

| i luv this song!!! i've never really listened to any other eve 6 song so i cant compare it to any. like the first time i heard this i was in the car with my best friend. it was a little be4 graduation... so thats the meaning i match to it!! although i kno its like really about a one night stand... some parts just fit the graduation/going away theme so well! especially ... "here's a toast to all those who hear me all to well" she "heard" me even when i didnt want her too! and now that she doesnt "hear" me at all.... the song makes it seem really like the whole going away thing! alrite well i dont kno how much sense that jsut made but whatever!! | |
