i usually dont have fave songs from fave bands, but for some reason, from teh first time i heard it, its my favorite. the way the music goes, to the lyrics, its incredible. the ataris are an awesome band, but the song is the standout. i love it so much. |

an interesting fact: chris penned this song in his psych class at NYU. but i think he's bitter about her being gone and telling her to have a killer time. u know how like when ur girl or guy goes off somewhere and ur stuck at home miserable, and they're off w/ other people having the time of their life, ur home and they call you and ur like 'i hope yuor having fun' but u really man 'i wish u were miserable w/ me?' i dunno, maybe its just me and im jus selfisj, lol |

i heard a live version of this song and chris said it was about 'people not being able to see the beauty that have' which like many have said, can lead to anorexia. i have a friend who is bulemic, and so i can understand what hes talking bout. |

i agree somewhat w/ infidel. i think its from the point of view of a guy who wrote a song about a failed relationship w/ a girl and he tries to apologize to her a few years later. but then he's learned she's changed and has learned to not be dependent on him, she's moved on. and he wishes that she would forgive him, but she just cant. |
