| I understand that,,perhaps,,she can be compared to true valuable pop, r and b icons as in singing ability like janet jackson,or mariah carey,or whitney houston,,but,,the rythms are highly catchy.one thing i dont understand is her preaching her virginity and the she isnt a total woman yet,,but she makes a video showing her "other " vocal skills.and for someone whos a "rookie" in that league she does it very well.another factor of her success is her physycal atributes,real or not. u dont see mtv promoting macy gray,bjork,videos do you?because she sells the physycal and her music talent,simple as that.its a shame that..people that can sing like an angels choir,might not have the same luck britney has.onlky because she might not be cute,or have a kikass body.THIS IS A MUSIC INDUSTRY,MR.RECORD LABEL PRODUCER,,,IF U WANNA SPONSOR CUTE WOMEN,,PUT UP A MODEL COMPANY,,PUBLISH STUFF THATS WORTH 20 DOLLARS PLUS.not only do we have to put up paying 20 dollars for a piece of plastic that can be easily damaged.we have to put up with whats on tv or radio.and it sells, because of the overexcessive promotions,not necesarily because the music is actually good.heres a little challenge,,u think ms(lets says she IS a miss) spears is a heck of a singer? the next cd she puts out,,,dont promote it on mtv,or any tv or radio,,just send it out on the stores,,after all,,,the good stuff sells by itself.and we,ll see what makes her sell,or the commercials,or her. this boricua is signing off, for now | |

| This is the first time i,m gonna post a comment,so here goes,,whitney,,in my book,will be one of the best voices,,,ever, and its a shame that she is falling for drugaddiction.like any other addiction. its not an easy task to overcome.its contradictory,, u need help from others to continue,,but they cant help you, if u dont help yourself.despite all of this,,i admire her talent.now,this message goes to nietzche.,,if the man is still there for you ,,its a mistake, that u let him go.in situations like those is where u get to see what they are made of.its real easy to love someone whos fine, dandy doesnt have problems. if hes still there for you,my humble opinion is to stay with him. it may not be my business.but,,i used to be with someone that,,thought the same u did..that i was "too good" for her,she said she has done things in her past which she wasnt proud of,or that i needed someone "cleaner".i still have contact with her, as friends..but inside i wish she game me a chance.some of us guys are able to give it our all,like your boyfriend for example,,there isnt much of those left.so,,just think about,ok? :) well i think i changed the topic a little bit, have i? i just enjoy in some way to try to help out,,typical boricua behavior ;) . anyway. i,m signing off, and i hope the folks at SM dont cancel my membership like last time | |
