I'll get bashed for being the guy who add's the Jesus stuff, but oh well. According to the Bible, 7 is the "perfect" number. Sorta like how 6 is imperfect, hence 666. Anyways...just an idea. |

Punk rock is all the emo I'll ever need man.
Your "real" punk that all these trendy little bastards go through the phase of...well...it just plain sucks.
But man, altpunk, emopunk, whatever you wanna call it. There's so much REAL emotion there. It's real music for real people dude, no manufactured feelings fed to you by pop-culture or the incoherent rambling of some idiot on a crack trip. So to sum it up...Fenix Tx kicks ass, and this song only proves it. One of those songs that I feel like I wrote myself I relate to it so well. |

What just echoes in my mind is "Oh God I want to dance like David...".
"Move swiftly now, and don't fall behind, move swiftly now, get up on the front line..."
Reminds me of an Air Force phrase my cousin taught me...but in a God format, haha. Lead, follow, or get the hell outa the way. =) |

I see it as a song about a love that was never truly a love. Genius, it's not your typical sappy song about love. It's like...it all started out great and everything was wonderful but later he almosts asks if it ever was really love, a question that he can't answer himself...but he's looking back and reminicing on the good times and the inner turmoil he experianced. I've felt like this so much, it's like why should you expect anyone to understand you when you can't understand yourself. Wonderful song. |

This song is awesome...as well is the entire band. It's definately nowhere near the same as it was when Brad was there. There won't ever be another band like Sublime. People need to look at these guys not as Sublime's replacement though. These guys love music, and because their best bud dies it doesn't mean that they're going to abandon their livelihood, their hobby, what they love to do. R.I.P. Brad, we're all missin ya. |

Well, most songs are written with so many metaphors and whatnot so that the songs can mean something seperate to each individual. Personally, as one of the few (or many?) Christian SOAD fans, this ENTIRE song can be taken through a religious standpoint as a walk with God. Personally, this song is really inspiring. To all of you who posted the mounds and mounds of posts simply because you heard it on the radio or saw the video, buy the album and appreciate the artists as a whole. |

heh...i really doubt that he's playin with himself right there, that line is to me is like waking up beside her and just...looking at her, like, you can't help but stare at her because she's so beautiful. this song is just awesome, the perfect description of being in love, and questioning what's to come. |

I was reading/listening to this song and started to get the impression that it's about a lost girlfriend...and then the more I looked at it the more I realised the true meaning behind it. Got chills when I figured it out; it's about his love dying, but knowing that one day he'll see her in heaven. I wonder if there are roses there. |

The actual meaning of this song is, well, meaningless to anyone other than Mark McGrath himself. What you interpret the song as is what it means. What the song means to you, personally, is the real meaning. That's the beauty of any art form; the multiple ways it can be interpreted, or, in this case, the the multiple situations that its listeners can put it into and say "Hey, this song's about me!" So...to somthin clever, you're the one who's "really wrong". As for the song...it kicks ass. Peace! |

This song is about the ultimate sacrifice that was given for all mankind. Jesus's death on the cross."They say if you are real then take it away." "Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?" Matthew 26:53-54 NIV. Next time you're questioning your faith, remember what Jesus Christ did for you. This pain is here reminding us to turn and leave...to come back home. He's pointing to show us the way. Jah Bless! |
