and there is definately a drug reference. He could be singing about him or someone else doing drugs ..or maybe he is referring to a friendship/relationship as a drug. At least that's what it sounds like to me. |

This song was originally called "Bruised and Broken' And they were going to name the album Bruised and Broken as well. But they decided on Sticks and Stones. |

I always thought they said "Its just not worth - get out"
and Brandnewfan "slicing inches from my waist" isn't referring to cutting..hes saying its making him lose weight. Like..people lose weight when they are stressed or sick. At least thats what I think he means. |

If it isn't Chad then why is there no guest vocalist listed in the liner notes? i doubt they would leave that out. However, there are backing vocals by Bane in "Belated". Perhaps you have them mixed up. |

THe song that says 9/11 in the video "i feel so" isn't this song..its "elevator". Elevator was originally called 9/11, but they changed the name. This song is not about 9/11. although it does make reference it. its about making the world a batter place in general. Keep in mind that not every song with lyrics about war and fear is written about september 11th. |

the songs great, your lyrics are wrong. it's not:
"can't you see my frown is dropped way down "
its actually "can't you see my front is crumbling down?"
and its not "i'll write these words together " it's "I wire these nerves together". and where you have "dumped" written in the one verse its "done".

I don't think this song is about a relationship. The way he adresses everythign is too general. I think he's singing about just people in general. He saying that we would do anything to be just ordinary and difference is something you don't come across often.
