the music for this song is so..so..enchanting. and then johns voice makes it perfect. its a most lovely blend.
it seems to be about someone who wants and tries so hard for something, but fails at getting that. say it's love..or just to be wanted. love just doesn't come from words sometimes people need ambrace, people need to be touched/hugged/kissed/whatever it may be. and to be wanted..yeah, i think i made my point. |

i love this song. i like to think of it as me..and another person. once there was a conversation where we were the same person..for a second. so this reminds me of it. and i always travel back to that second when this song plays.

this song is beautiful.
it would sound corny to come out and say computers and such, but they made it so amazing sounding. it really makes you think. but you easily know what they're talking about.
they're saying something like, you can't always depend on this machine...you have to be in reality or you're not going to know what's going on if you are constantly burried in the screen.
but these lines here..."Carry me through the wires
Bury me in the screen
Shift me into this fixation
Cling to the machine"...sound to me like he's referring to an online realtionship between two people.
they are being carried through the wires, they are only paying attention to their screens, they are fixated on eachother, and just concentrating on what eachother is saying.

i love the sound of this song, it's great. the guitars are awesome.
this sing seems to be saying a lot about some sort of love. either about the beauty of seeing the stars and what its like to look at them and have no problems, never wanting to come back to them. and knowing the stars will never turn your looks away no matter how you look.
or
love with someone and seeing how beautful they can be, even if you aren't.
i'm not a good interpreter...nor can i explain things well. but i know its about the love for something, natural. |
