This is my opinion, a long-time AFI fan. People will bash me for this, but I really could care less.
I've been an AFI fan since I first saw them perform "The Secret Ninja" at a local California club. I'll bet over half of the so-called "die-hard" AFI fans who posted above me haven't even listened to the first, say, 4 albums, which in my opinion were much closer to punk rock than this album will ever be.
I don't have a problem with this album, but I have a problem with people labelling it as punk rock. Let me get one thing straight with everyone: PUNK ROCK IS DEAD. And AFI is NOT punk. This album is great only from a musical point of view. I dont have a problem with their sound. The only problem I have is that it's not AFI. AFI defined themselves as one of the greatest punk revivalist bands ever, and now everyone is starting to put them in that image today. They went down the route that Kurt Cobain didn't want to see and killed himself over. They changed record labels, changed their sound, and now, changed their image. I'm sorry to say, but I'm disappointed with them.. |

You people complaining about this song are so fucking stupid. Why is there a problem for bands like Cannibal Corpse to exist? They can write about whatever they like. If you don't like it, don't complain and look for another band to suit your tastes. I applaud Cannibal Corpse, lyrical genuises, amazingly talented musicians, and for breaking the moral barrier in society. |

I like the old FSF. Carabba was so much more lyrical, and nothing can compare to the emotion and symbolism in songs like "The Bradley". Although I hate to admit it, they sound somewhat like a boy band now. |

This song totally rocks. Probably my favorite HWM song, and it's on the alk3/hwm split. Once I learned how to play it on guitar, it never got old. |
