| Doves – Sea Song Lyrics | 15 years ago |

The sample is from the film Paris,Texas. It's taken from a monologue at the end of the film. The words from the samples are: "I used to talk to you all the time." "Sometimes your voice would wake me up." "It would wake me up in the middle of the night, just like you were in the room with me." "I hear your voice all the time" "I just gave up... I just gave up" You can see more of the dialog on the quotes page for the film on IMDB. It's a great film and I agree they add a lot to the song. |

| Doves – Black And White Town Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I love this song. I guess it kind of sums up life in the city, and how it would be nice to escape it, but there is also a soul to the city. | |
| Ian Brown – Keep What Ya Got Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Ian Brown often sings about hands being at the wheel in songs, I wonder what this means? The feeling of being in control? | |

Of the lyrics websites i have looked at, they all have the line "Oh yeah, your skin and bones" as the lyric, so perhaps the lyrics above are wrong? Perhaps hes trying to convey how he would love her no matter what her apperance it? Maybe she is very concious of her weight, so hes explaining how shes skin and bones in his eyes and how he would do anything for her anyway? |
