Yeah I'm going totally freakish when this song is playing. To me this is just like a big FUCK YOU to that plastic world we're all living in. The lyrics are just fuckin great. The song is just mighty amazing, and as shows my nickname, this is my fav' belvedere song. I remember i punched someone on the nose in the circle pit when they played it in montreal during the Suicide Machine tour. He was bleeding and everything but He never knew it was me And i personally think it's better like that :S . Gee i was soOoOoOoOoOo, hum like, ANGRY, i was yelling every single word in the pit and everything. . . .Ah belvedere is just so great!!! To me I personally think this song is about making an hard choice, and praying god for his help. I don't believe in god too, personally. Religion is just bullshit, sorry if I ever offend some people who are into it, but that's my opinion. As for the whole thrice-is-hardcore-thing, i would qualify thrice more as a emocore band...Yet it is more punk than thursday or taking back sunday....wich is good, 'cause it just mean they got their own sound.But yeah, i've got to agree with that guy above me (can't remember is name), but hardcore are band like Bane, Walls Of Jericho and Poison The well.For the little will smith guy, and don't think you ever listened to hardcore, cause if you ever listen to , hum....let's say Poison the well, you will see that this band is really emotional and maybe that the riff are not so technical, but it doesn't mean that the guy doesn't know what he is playing, and he is respecting all the harmonies about the other instrument.And no, the drum is not just toum-tac-toum-tac played fast, dumb ass. Another good point about poison the well are the lyrics. So go back listening to your commercial shit talking about chicks, sex, drugs and material possesions and don't diss true music.
