I just discovered this band today because I see they are going to tour with Juliana Theory- this song is ADDICTING I have listened to it pretty much non stop the last hour or two. His voice is incredible- smooth and emotional. They remind me a little of Hoobastank or Incubus. Cool lyrics also- great band! |

this song always amazes me and breaks my heart- i live in a rich suburb so find it applies quite well. I won't be a hypocrite though- the verse about someone lying in the street i find too- when i was younger I felt so sad about them and now I guess I see it usually as a plea for alcohol, something less than a person.

Thought this song was very fitting after Columbine and other school shootings. After September 11, it really put into words once again some of my emotions. I think this song is about how so many awful things go on in the world today and there is no hope. However, when we put our hope in God and eternity, we have something to live for knowing we won't be in this war, pain, and chaos forever. |

This song was such a cool surprise- happened upon it while looking for good emo bands. Call me old fashioned but I am a believer in saving sex for marraige- yeah i know that's really difficult but I think its worth it for so many reasons- No STD's to worry about, not worrying about it being a one night stand- I believe sex is an incredible gift and the ultimate way 2 people bond- and I think the only time it should be used is when 2 people plan to be together permanently in marraige, because you are giving away part of yourself. Feel free to argue, but this is how I feel |

I was at the jars of clay/jennifer knapp concert this month- the song was written about some friends who were getting married. Don't remember exactly, but right after getting engaged the woman was diagnosed with cancer. They got married and spent all 3 months of their marraige with her in the hospital and him by her side. I think the song was about their incredible love and their hope of being together in heaven, and how her memory wouldn't be lost.
Thought that was an amazing story- talk about committment:-) |
