It's not that there is really "A" meaning to the song. That song works on so many levels it's unbelievable. The music behing the song is unbelievable. The entire song is chords. As for the people who had previously posted against this song, it's your opinion. If you ever want to take the time to look at the words up there and actually use the brain between your ears. I heard the theory about LOTR. That was just inspired by the huge craze with the movies. Fine. It happens, and that's why the song is so unbelievable. No matter what the "craze" is the song has some application. It is, therefore, left to the mind to contemplate and interpret as it will. |

| the best song on the cd and i skipped putting in my comments... great song... there are many different meanings though... if you look at it and how it reads... it strikes everyone differently, the way that the lyrics seem to me is that he is saying good bye to the world he knows. It isn't something he wants to do, but something he must. He sees that people are going to miss him, and he is calling out to the rest of the Earth to join him in a battle for the better. :-) | |

to me this song is telling about all of the evils in life and about what we should put past us. Discrimination of race, age, and religion. We should not judge people by personal beliefs or upon their past, no matter how rough. Perhaps this is told from an ominous point of view and Stapp is calling for help from the rest of man kind. "It's a decision to stop the division in your life" Stapp is calling to end discrimination of all kinds. Great song from a philosophical stand point |
