I read the lyrics to this song and noticed it is about someone dying. This song is not about suicide or death, your all retarded. why not take a minute to look at what it really is saying compared to what you want it to say. First off the trucks, trains, boats, and planes are to describe everyday of your life and how they are different. Some are good some are bad, that is what the colors represent, the mood of that day.
To describe every section of the song would take awhile so I'm going to sum it down. It has such a beautiful message, not a dark, "Run for the razors!" message as you think. It is saying that everyday will be diffent, some good and some bad, mostly bad cuz life isn't a cake walk. He says that no matter what don't dwell on the past. Everyone is looking at the bad things that have happened and aren't looking at the good and what good will come. "and what they say about the grass on the other side is true, too much time looking up turning everything blue" - translates - "Good things will come in the future, but no one is looking for it, they are too busy looking at the things that make them sad"

Ok falling is the only song not based on anything that has happened to me. it is about someone who cares for a girl going after her, like literally driving after her. Her boyfriend killed himself in front of her so the main guy is going to check to see if she is ok, but when he gets there she is laying there bleeding to death from a self inflicted wound from guilt. The song is to show that this is a childish thing, that is why it takes place in a park and even death is enjoying the playground. I know it is kinda dark, but is shows that suicide is childish. |
