this is the best song out there that actually has a good meaning. This song, through views and everything, found out that this song is about when it was the guys girlfriend, then the other guy screwed her and she got pregnant and aborted the child and commited suicide. Then they never talked about it. the lead singer wrote it about his life, and the band in 1991, a year before the band even started. So there you go, two guys from the band screwed the same chick, but the lead singer was the one who knocked her up. Yet, to say, it was supposed to be a one night stand, but she got attached and that's what made her commit suicide, well abort, because you see, she actually did not commit suicide. They made the suicide part to make it better and more interesting. They came up with the name The Freshmen because the night before he wrote the song, he watched the movie called "The Freshmen" and realized that they were all freshmen at the time when this had all happened. Confusing as it may seem, that's the story behind the song, as though it may seem to be quite a few other things...sad perfect song, because playas/one night standers dont understand what they do to girls...this song explains it all!! |

First of all, I gotta say, Serial Joe is honestly an awesome band. Hearing Mistake a few years ago, in Wisconsin, is a suprise, because you dont usually hear them. but anyways, this song means so much to me, because i listen to it all the time and it like explained my ex boyfriend and my relationship, while we were together in some ways, so it's one of those songs for everyone. It explains a lot, but yet doesnt come straight out to the point of it, i guess that's why i like it so much. |
