hey reactionary. i didn't mean anything by the fact that strung out was a bad band. ptw just has more potential. there is no need for harsh words, this board is about the feelings you get from a song and what you think it means. not to put down what someone else has to say, or even to be an ass. there is no comparison to a band like ptw. so just shut your mouth. |

everyone knows about the "fuck you" part by now... but some say it's because he is ashamed of what he wants to say. i think it's more about what jeff really wants to say but can't find the right words. this song definately shows the diversity of the band and shows what they are fully capable"of doing. pulling out an accoustic song in the middle of a hardcore album and then putting a song like sticks and stones directly after it takes talent and adversity. ptw is quite a band. |

one more thing... just remember that ptw is getting out.. but will never sell out. trustkill see's their ability and potential.. trying to make them a big act, maybe on day to headline their own show.. instead of being under such a lesser band as strung out. s.o. is good... but they don't have the potential ptw does. and one more thing.. if you loved this song.. go get: to mandate heaven. |

tonight.. lawrence ks... tears filled everyones eyes as the beautiful lyrics poured jeff moreira's lips. this was their finale at a show that they should have headlined. no other band has the songwriting ability that ptw has. no more emotion could ever come from another singer. and no other crowd could ever sing over him like we did. |
