i love this song and incubus in general brandon it soo talented in the lyrical sense i dont know about other things. the songs are like my english teachers dream they have so many methaphors and things like that. I saw them in concert and it was just absolutly awesome except for the fact that it was frezing

i agree with youmaysayimadreamer and a couple ppl below her. This song is one of the worst SOCo songs. They're all good but this one is my least favorite. I freaked when i heard it on the radio. Cuz i instantly knew that all the little teenie bopper ppl were going to like it. ergh. And it's like the only one that swears. i hate to sound like everyone else but I want to be someones Punk ROck princess. I wish i had a garage band king. BUt i dont.. oh well life goes on. I would die if i had a bf in a band and he wrote me a song. Hey if anybody here hears of a band called Foozler in a few years they rock buy there cd (when they have one) They're from my home town and the won the Battle of the Bands and the loft in WI.

i think the straw dog is soposed be a metaphor for her. Its like saying the her life is going nowhere and sooner or later shes gonna die (the straw dog will get hit by a car) but she isnt really doing anything about.. this is like the best song ever. I cant wait to see them at warped tour. I couldnt see them before becuz the stupid place they played at was a bar so the show was 18 and up. I love something corporate. Buy the CD. This is my theme song.
