| Dispatch – The General Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
Honestly, I doubt that this song is about Jesus. Dispatch's themes are decidedly less sacred. If anything, I'd think that it was an allegory for some criminal, some drug dealer. And one day, he gave up his wayward ways, told his followers to quit, and finished his business. Considering obvious clashed with the law in "Open Up" I doubt that this is too far off. |

| Great song. He wants to be numb. Don't we all. | |

Devotion. Pure and utter devotion. -Swirled with some despair, that is. |

| Taking Back Sunday – The Blue Channel Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
Taking Back Sunday rocks so much more that just my socks ;) I love this song.. I really talks about how much you can love a person no matter what they do to you. "Regardless if my pictures they don't line your mirror Regardless you know that I'll still wait for your call" |

| Taking Back Sunday – Cute Without The 'E' (Cut From The Team) Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Got to love this song. | |
| Shawn Colvin – Sunny Came Home Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
The fire connection that alot of people have made sounds reasonable.. but I've always thought of this song had a reference to bombing... "Sunny came home to her favorite room Sunny sat down in the kitchen She opened a book and a box of tools Sunny came home with a mission" "Sunny came home with a list of names She didn't believe in transcendence It's time for a few small repairs she said Sunny came home with a vengeance " |

| You're right, this world has gone to hell. | |
| BoySetsFire – Timothy Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Since all of the experiences I've had with death are from suicide, that's what the song means to me. RIP Tobias. | |
| Les Misérables – On My Own Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| I love this song beyond words. It's just... hauntingly beautiful. | |
| Mest – Drawing Board Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Yeah, I want to post again on this song, because I just realized something rather paradoxal. How come it is so simple to write a fantastic, passionate hate/geartbroken song, but when you're writing a love song everything seems so cliche and idiotic?? | |
| Mest – Fuct Up Kid Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| I think we all feel like this from time to time.. and I guess that's right, because everyone is just a tad bit fucked up. | |
| Yellowcard – Rough Draft Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Ahh, I love this song. To me, it's about a fruitless desire for someone that just seems so impossible. By the way, 'in lieu of' means 'in place of'. | |
| Les Misérables – On My Own Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| This song is fantastic. A masterpiece. | |
| The Stryder – Missing Without You Lyrics | 23 years ago |

| Mest – Drawing Board Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Exquisite song. All fellow writers can commiserate to this song. It sucks so much when you can't pen the right words for that special person. | |
| The Juliana Theory – You Always Say Goodnight, Goodnight Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Oh gosh, this song reminds me so much of my ex-boyfriend that it hurts. The first time I ever heard it I went through a whole fit of hysterics because of the powerful lyrics. "Did you really think that it was over when you hung up the phone and said goodnight?" | |
| Tonic – If You Could Only See Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
I love this song. But on the meaning of the song, I agree with Charisse. I can't wait until I can get my band to cover this, but if I'm doing the vocals I think I'll change the "she" 's to "he" 's. |

| Skycamefalling – Laura Palmer Lyrics | 23 years ago |

Se amo. This song most definitely rocks my socks and many other things as well. "When the sun never rises wherever you are, you begin to lose track of the stars." |

| Hey Mercedes – Que Shiraz Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Oh wow, this song is great. The connective factor that I have to it is immense. I wish sometimes that people would just let go of the past and travel the road less taken. | |
| Further Seems Forever – Bye Bye Bye (N Sync cover) Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Oh my... Goodness gracious! I nearly had a coronary when I saw this, for I was unaware that Further Seems Forever did a cover of 'Bye Bye Bye' on the Punk Goes Pop CD. I thought that someone had submitted this wretched song, thinking it was a FSF song... Holy beegiez.. | |
| Mad At Gravity – Walk Away Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
The feeling is mutal, this song kicks ass. But what does this song mean? I've been interpretting it for some time now that it was about a girl that was so low that he almost had pity for her. She had hurt him so bad in the past, and he despises her now. The first verse could be how he considered making amends, or perhaps sinking down to her level of lowliness. He got hurt when he tried to make amends --> "I searched your eyes for an answer And shuddered at what I found there As my skin shrunk away from conclusion That you lack the strength to care" She was so vile that it hurt him even more. So, he is left wondering if he should just stop trying to make the situation better, and he wonders if they'll ever speak again. That's probably a very abstract perversion of the song... Sorry if you completely disagree. |

| Mad At Gravity – Burn Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
I love this song. The acoustic version is great. Anywho- I think that this song is about total and utter devotion. He knows nothing and noone other than his significant other, and he'd gladly let his entire life go up in smoke [no pun intended] if he could only have her love. Perhaps he thinks by sacrificing his entire life (letting it burn), he'll get her approval. I know how he feels, I've felt the same way for this guy... But compromising yourself is one of the worst things that you can do. |

| Saves the Day – The Way His Collar Falls Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| One of my friends, after listening to this song, inquired if Chris was gay. I told her no, and just because he sings about missing a guy does not meant that he is homosexual. I love this song because in it Chris does what he does best: convey emotion. | |
