| The reason Pinkerton didn't sell millions of copies early on was lack of promotion. They didn't have videos or anything so not many people heard it; except the fans that kept track of Weezer. But now that they've written some songs that got a lot of play, everyone loves Pinkerton because they know it's there. Fans didn't abandon Pinkerton, they just weren't given the chance to accept it. Although, the critics thinking that Rivers was a psyco pervert with a Japanese fetish didn't help much. Corporate commies just didn't understand the album. | |
