This song doesn't need to be analyzed...but I love the part -- "I guess this is what it's like to be really down, and holding out for something." It's really true. For some reason, I really love this song...I can picture myself laying alone in a parking lot, thinking the same things.

It's crazy the way that I get chills when I listen to this song. The first time I heard it, I just kept on turning it up, louder and louder...and I was crying by the end and I had a big smile on my face. This song means so much to me...at the end of the song "The best that you knew how, and you can hear them cheering now." I try and work so hard at things...and it would be so grea to get recognition back for that kind of thing. And.."Despair can ravage you if you turn your head around to look down the path that's led you here, cause what can you change?" I love that. This is the most beautiful song ever written, and I never tire of it. it gets better every time I listen. When Chris belts out the chorus, I get so overwhelmed, it makes me want to cry...this song is perfect, it makes my blood shiver.
Most of all, when my boyfriend and I broke up because we were going to different schools, he told me to listen to this song. And I'm over him, but I thought it was the best gift ever that he told me to listen to this. As if these were my lyrics, from him to me. *wipes tear* |

I totally disagree with negatyve, but I guess this is what this site's for...I don't think this song is that great either, but I think Saves the Day is awesome and I think their lyrics are better than bright eyes. And I don't think they're "pathetic pop punk emo-wannabes"...good music is good music, no matter what the label. |

Agh, I love the guitar towards the end!! So very cool. This song is so well put together musically and lyrically, one of their best..it can be viewed in so many different ways and is totally relateable. That's not a word. Who cares. This song kicks, as all of their songs do. |
