this song is depressing. Everyone says it is to your girlfriends/boyfriends. but to me its sad. just because you love someone and would do anyhting for them, doesn't mean they love you back. "I wouldn't trade anything, your still my everything" --> your STILL my everyhting through everything you've done to me, despite all the lies, despite everything. This is depressing. |

I can relate to what a lot of the people are saying about what i means to them but I have a totally different view point. I think being a "long way from home" means you a long way from what you want to be and changing yourself for someone. The best line is: "I've smuggled myself into new nationalities, think you'd be proud of me" To me it means that you've made yourself into anything for a person or just do anything for a person and you think that the person your trying to impress would appreciate it but they just don't. And you just get left alone again. |
