i think this is about ebign naieve (spelling?) in relationships 'when he lied it meant he loved me' twisting meanings for yourself and making things mean what you want them too. refusing to sccept the truth that this guy is a bastard etc. rather than just having a dig at the guy, i think its having a dig at herself (or the subject of the song) for believing him... -roz- |

everyone will argue with me for this one but i think this is kind of, partly at least, a parody of some 'popular' punk bands. apart from the actual skill involved in this, the basic tune etc is similar to blink182, offspring etc. some of the lyrics also seem to be a parody of the teeny punk band mind set. sorry. please dont hurt me. -roz- |

I think this is a sad as wella s angry song. It's about the fact that she wants revenge for all the wrongdoings and also the fact that she can't have it. Not right now and probably not ever "until then i'll have to drown drown drown myself' The screaming parts are all the anger at the fact that what she believes is rightful revenge will naver happen and she's stuck in a vicious cycle of having bad done to her and everyone else and not ebign able to do anything about it. It's also, i think, about how power can corrupt. When i am queen - when i am all powerful. theres all these grusome things she's talking about in a calm and un-emotional way. when she's screaming about how shes trapped down with no power, there is emotion and she hasnt been corrupted by power. feel free to dissagree with me :) -roz- |
