(Well, the people who seem to think their opinion should be the only one that counts) As far as I can see, none of you hold great positions of importance in the world and are not qualified to preach at everyone else about music or anything else. Give your opinion on the song, read others, but stop telling everyone they suck because of theirs, it's a long, boring and pointless argument. Well that was amusing, cept wen ppl wrote essays, that was just boring.
What does this song mean to you? - Well, everytime I say Dammit, it's what my friends sing at me... I think it's a cool song, best played VERY loud, and I don't give a shit about selling out or being punk/not being punk, in the end, it's all personal choice and opinion. :)

I completely agree with you justanotherkydd, the question is, "What does this song mean to you?" It isn't, "Think about what everyone else has said and compile a list of insults against their opinions, then wait for an argument to begin on the differences of opinions you have." Why can't people just say what they think of the song, maybe disagree with others, but still repsect their opinion as they'd want their own to be respected?
So, on that note, I think this song is cool, simpler and maybe more mainstream than their old stuff but it doesn't really bother me. Now, I'll just wait for someone to argue, then ignore them and rise above the petitness. |
